A towering cedar caught my eye - its weather-worn bark ribboned with colour, studded by a family of fungi, standing witness to seasons uncounted. This painting was my first courageous step leaning into vivid hues, letting exploration and curiousity lead each brushstroke, the trunk’s natural palette echoing my own. The result is a meeting place of realism and imagination: an ancient forest sentinel made luminous, inviting you to pause, trace the layered colours, and feel both the steadiness of nature and the courage of stepping beyond the familiar, connecting with the magic of your imagination.
