Sunbeams slip between the trees, fanning across fern-fringed earth and setting the forest aglow. In that quiet flash of light I felt the West Coast welcome me home after returning back to Canada from living in New Zealand - reminding me that no matter how far we wander, or the challenges we face, nature has a way of rooting us again. I painted this moment as a meditation on renewal: steady trunks, luminous moss, and warm radiance joining in a gentle promise that all will unfold as it should when we pause, breathe, and let nature guide us back to ourselves.
