Hidden among the trees, a bald eagle has spotted you with its quiet yet commanding presence. Watcher in the Woods was created to capture the beauty and strength of these majestic birds that we’re fortunate to have in abundance here on the West Coast.
 
Through dimensional layered brushwork, rich earthy tones, and subtle bursts of unexpected colour, I wanted to bring both serenity and impactful energy into the piece.
